Effective Communication

By coming to this school, you are buying into our ethos.                    You are entrusting us to do the very best for your child.                      To enable us to do this, please;

Trust us

Work with us

Talk to us

If you would like to speak to your child’s teacher, please appreciate that the beginning of the school day is very busy and they may not be able to give you the time  both you and they would prefer. Teachers have more flexibility at the end of the day to answer questions and share information. If you would like a more in-depth dialogue with your child’s class teacher, please contact the office or 01295 670335, who will arrange a mutually convenient appointment time.

All teaching staff have a school email address, which they are happy to use to receive and share essential information, within reasonable working hours. However, teacher emails should not be used to raise concerns. It is always best to have face to face conversations if you have a sensitive issue to resolve. Emotions are often misread in an email!

If you do have a pressing concern, please contact the Head of School, who will respond at the earliest opportunity.

Please understand that social media is not a suitable platform to direct school-based questions to teaching and support staff. Teaching staff will not and cannot accept communication from parents via this medium.

If you have a question or a grumble, sharing it on social media is neither helpful nor productive.

Communication is the key to success!
