Fencing Fun!

On the 15th April 2026, we had Olympic Fencer James Beevers visit us at Hornton Primary School.

James ran four workshops with us so that each class had an opportunity to learn fencing.

The children were shown the en garde position, how to travel across the court, and had short fencing matches with their friends! They also had the opportunity to coach each other and correct their friend's mistakes.
