Communications and Arbor
If you would like to speak to your child’s teacher, please appreciate that the beginning of the school day is very busy and they may not be able to give you the time both you and they would prefer. Teachers have more flexibility at the end of the day to answer questions and share information. If you would like a more in-depth dialogue with your child’s class teacher, please contact the office office.2001@hornton.oxon.sch.uk or 01295 670335, who will arrange a mutually convenient appointment time.
Arbor – Parent Communication and Information System
Our school uses Arbor, a secure online system that helps us share important information with parents and carers quickly and efficiently.
Through the Arbor Parent App or Parent Portal, you can:
- View your child’s attendance and school reports
- Receive messages and announcements from the school
- Check term dates, events and the school calendar
- Update contact details and permissions
- Access information about clubs, trips and payments
Arbor helps strengthen communication between home and school by ensuring parents have easy access to up-to-date information in one place. The system is secure and can be accessed anytime via a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Parents will receive login details directly from the school. If you need support accessing Arbor, please contact the school office.
