Term One

This term, we have been focusing on place value. We have explored numbers to 20 in a range of ways - tens frames, base 10 blocks, unfix cubes, bead strings, physical and written number lines, and formal written questions. 

We have also recently introduced addition to Year 1, and explored this further with Year 2 by using fact families including subtraction.
